This is one of the most important ministries at Baho Outreach Church. People volunteering in this ministry have a greater responsibility of interacting with many people from diverse backgrounds.
In the Old Testament, ushers in the tabernacle and temple were called doorkeepers. As the psalmist put it, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” In the New Testament, ushers serve a greater responsibility. When you serve as an usher, you set the stage for the worship experience. You are literally part of the continuing story of God’s redemption.
At Baho Outreach Church, the Care department commonly known as Social Affairs is under the Ushering, Care & Events Ministry. The Care ministry exists to provide love and support to people who are struggling with life’s challenges.
A church event is a planned gathering or activity organized by a church community to serve various purposes, such as fostering fellowship, encouraging spiritual growth, or promoting outreach and evangelism. Church events can be of different sizes, formats, and themes, but they all share the common goal of bringing people together to strengthen their connection to the church and deepen their faith.
