Our Journey
Our Journey
Since its founding, Baho Outreach Church has experienced a series of highs and lows. Like many churches in Rwanda, our church was initially shut down because we lacked a proper building and had only a simple hangar. As the church began its slow recovery, the Covid-19 pandemic struck. The pandemic forced all churches to remain closed for nearly a year. Baho Church was also impacted by the nationwide closure of all places of worship due to the pandemic. As everyone began to recover from COVID-19, our government shut down over 8,000 churches that did not comply with certain regulations, such as having rainwater tanks, soundproofing, and appropriate permits. This wave of closures left Baho Outreach Church unable to open until further notice.
Ultimately, the church is not merely a human organization; it is the work of our heavenly Father.
